Oleksandr Usyk and Derek Chisora will finally go head to head in hotly anticipated heavyweight main event clash at Wembley Arena on Saturday night.

The pair were originally due to lock horns in May, only for the bout to be postponed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic that brought boxing and the wider sporting world to a standstill.

The highly dangerous and skilled Usyk is seeking to maintain his status as the mandatory challenger for Anthony Joshua’s WBO belt.

However, Ukraine’s undefeated and former undisputed cruiserweight world champion - who also won Olympic, World and European gold as an amateur - is likely to be given a stern test by the battle-hardened and hugely experienced Chisora, who has racked up three wins since his second defeat to Dillian Whyte in December 2018.

There are also plenty of intriguing match-ups on the undercard, with Lee Selby in action in an IBF lightweight eliminator and Savannah Marshall and Hannah Rankin facing off in their rescheduled bout for the women’s WBO middleweight crown.

  • Ramla Ali vs Eva Hubmeyer

Date, start time and venue

Usyk vs Chisora takes place at The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Saturday, October 31 2020. The action gets under way at 7pm GMT.

Ring walks for the main event are expected at around 10pm.

How to watch

The card will be televised live on Sky Box Office, with the televised action due to start at 7pm.

Fight prediction

Even at 36, Chisora should never be underestimated and still possesses both the power and heart necessary to cause real problems to any heavyweight.

However, Usyk is a real class operator and should claim a wide points decision as he looks to make a big statement in Joshua’s back yard.

Betting odds

  • Usyk to win: 1/5

  • Chisora to win: 5/1

  • Draw: 49/1

  • Usyk points: 6/4
