The Olivers continue sweet family crown tradition on Buddy's 10th birthday
Jamie and Jools Oliver celebrated eldest son Buddy Bear's 10th birthday on Tuesday (15 September) and continued with a sweet family tradition that we've spotted since the recent birthdays of Petal Blossom (11) and River Rocket (4).
With an old school, homemade feel, each child has worn a fabulous paper birthday crown with their name and age on it.

Buddy Bear is sporting an American football themed crown in this post by dad Jamie, who captioned the snap with heartwarming words: "What a legend you are!! Such a kind sweet boy and so much fun to be around. I love you so much. What a proper dude you are."
While it looks like this neat crown was made by mum or dad or one of their older teenage sisters, younger sister Petal Blossom's pink number was a little less polished and had a real family feel.

We assume the flower sequins and stickers are a nod to her floral namesakes.
River Rocket's crown was a glorious red number with a magical castle and looked like the little chap may have had a hand in decorating himself.
You can't beat the simple joys of a little art and craft project, and this creative birthday tradition is definitely one we'll be stealing for our own loved ones.
Everyone is royalty on their birthday!
