In case you've forgotten, there's a new version of Watership Down in the works, with an all-star voice cast including John Boyega, James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult.

Olivia Colman is also on board, voicing Strawberry, and told press including Digital Spy that she found working on the animation - famed for its harrowing story - rather challenging.

"I'm taking quite a long time because I keep crying!" Colman revealed. "I promised my Mum I'd never watch the original, because she knew I wouldn't be able to cope. Now I'm having to record it!"

Originally a novel by author Richard Adams, Watership Down follows a group of rabbits as they seek a new home, following the destruction of their warren.

Unfortunately, many of them meet grisly fates along the way - and you thought Animals of Farthing Wood was bad!

The book was adapted into an acclaimed animated film in 1978, with a previous TV adaptation airing for 39 episodes between 1999 and 2001.

Gemma Arterton, Mackenzie Crook, Daniel Kaluuya and Ben Kingsley are among the cast of the new four-part adaptation - a collaboration between the BBC and Netflix.

"It is fantastic to have the opportunity to bring a modern classic to a mainstream BBC One audience with such an incredible roster of actors alongside the talented team overseeing the animation," said BBC drama's commissioning editor Matthew Read.

Olivia Colman stars in Broadchurch, returning to ITV for its third and final series this Monday (February 27) at 9pm.
