Olivia Culpo graphically details family plans: ‘I feel like the day after my wedding, I’m just gonna rip out my IUD!’
Olivia Culpo says she wants to “rip out” her birth control device as soon as she marries her NFL star fiancé Christian McCaffrey.
The 31-year-old actress and model – who is set to wed the 27-year-old San Francisco 49ers player after they got engaged in April – made the admission about wanting to start a family as soon as their nuptials are over in a TikTok video.
‘I Feel Pretty’ star Olivia told fans: “I feel like the day after my wedding, I’m just gonna rip out my IUD and start trying immediately.”
Olivia had previously expressed concern about getting pregnant because she has endometriosis, an often painful condition in which cells similar to that of the inner lining of the uterus grow outside the uterus.
She had surgery in August 2020 for her syndrome in hopes of alleviating her symptoms.
Olivia also used her TikTok video to say how lucky she felt to have fallen in love with Christian, adding: “For a while, I thought I was gonna be a bachelorette, but here we are now.
“Pray for your future husband. That’s what worked for me. I got down on my hands and knees and I said, ‘God, please, show me a better way.’”
Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia added she “wrote down so many specific things” in order to ‘manifest’ Christian, such as that she wanted a man who was close to his mum.
She also gushed about how excited she was to be getting married in her home state of Rhode Island.
Olivia added: “I have to say, there is a lot of pride from our little state.
“This is the smallest state in the country, for those of you who are maybe from the country and don’t know that.
“It’s the best state in the entire world and… I’m getting married here!”
Olivia and Christian celebrated their engagement at a party in Rhode Island over the summer following four years of dating.
The couple posted a joint slideshow of images online from the day, with
black and white shots showing the NFL player down on one knee and the couple hugging afterwards.
Olivia said on her Instagram Story at the time: “We tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible but apparently word travels fast.
“I’m marrying my best friend. I love you so much, fiancé.”
