Actress Olivia Munn texted Anna Faris to dispel Chris Pratt dating rumours – and then posted the conversation on social media.

Reports by Entertainment Tonight claimed that Munn and Pratt, who recently filed for divorce from Faris, had been spotted on a date acting “totally romantic”.

But Munn, 37, swiftly shut down the reports by taking it upon herself to set the record straight.

Posting on her Instagram story and Twitter account, the Newsroom star shared a series of important points alongside a screenshot of her and Faris’ text conversation.

Munn’s text to Faris, who co-parents with Pratt, read: “Since we know each other, I wanted to reach out to you personally to tell you the story about me and Chris dating has 0% truth.

“I'm sure you already know it's not true, or maybe didn't care either way, but I just wanted to reach out personally to tell you it's not true.”

To which Faris replied, quipping: “Hi!!!! Oh my god – this town is so f****** crazy – you are so sweet to text. I love you – having said that if you were my new sister in law I would be thrilled!”

Faris and Pratt announced their separation in August 2017 after eight years of marriage.

The superstar couple posted a joint statement saying that they “tried really hard for a long time”.

Pratt and Faris met on the set of film Take Me Home Tonight back in 2007 and got engaged just one year later.

They married in Bali on July 9 2009 and welcomed son Jack, who was born prematurely, in 2012.
