It's been more than 40 years since Grease hit the big screen, but star Olivia Newton-John is still reeling over the film's "wild" premiere party.

On Thursday, the actress appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen where she indulged in a "Greased Lightning" round of questions including one about the movie's premiere party in 1978.

"The Grease premiere party was held at Studio 54 in 1978, Elton John was there, Grace Jones was there, what do you remember about that night?" Cohen asked.

"I just remember it was crazy," Newton-John revealed. "There were lots of people in the bathrooms doing strange things that I hadn’t seen before."

She continued, "It was wild and fun and a very exciting night."

The 72-year-old also shared her thoughts on the upcoming Grease spinoff series, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, which is set to focus on the iconic girl group from the film.

"’I'm very curious what they’re gonna do, I can’t imagine what they’re gonna do," the actress admitted.

"But I think Grease is so loved and beloved, which is amazing, that people will be curious," she added. "I’ll be curious to see what they come up with."

Earlier this month, it was announced that the musical series, originally titled Grease: Rydell High, moved from WarnerMedia's HBO Max to ViacomCBS' streaming platform, Paramount+, with a new name: Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, according to Variety and Deadline.

Per Deadline, the series will explore how the Pink Ladies — Rizzo, Frenchy, Marty, and Jan — came together before ruling Rydell High, the high school where Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Sandy Olsson (Newton-John) fell in love in the original musical movie.

The series is expected to feature new songs, while also likely to include many of the film's iconic musical numbers, like "Greased Lightning" and "You're the One That I Want" according to Variety.

Annabel Oakes remains the creator, writer, and executive producer. The series is also being executive produced by Picturestart and Temple Hill. Both are also attached to Paramount's prequel movie to Grease, titled Summer Lovin'.
