Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has confirmed Ollie Watkins and Ezri Konsa are both fit to face Everton on Saturday (5:30pm kick-off).

It was revealed shortly after Watkins linked up with the England squad that he had left St. George's Park after undergoing assessments by the Three Lions fitness team, while Konsa picked up an injury in the second half of the win over Finland on Tuesday night.

Konsa received treatment on the pitch and carried on playing for a few minutes before eventually being asked to be replaced because he was in discomfort. Emery has since confirmed Konsa will be fit to play on Saturday, adding: "The players coming back after playing with their national team, they are in the squad and we don't have big issues."

Asked about Watkins' fitness, Emery said: "He is progressively getting better. He is in the squad, thinking to be available."

Villa claimed their second win of the season against Leicester last time out having also beaten West Ham 2-1 on the opening weekend. Villa host Everton on Saturday in search of their first home win of the season after losing 2-0 to title hopefuls Arsenal between their away victories at the start of this season.

Only in 2013-14 have Villa lost both of their first two home matches of a Premier League campaign. Opponents Everton, along with Southampton, are one of two sides to lose all three of their Premier League games so far this season. Only in 1926-27 and 1958-59 have the Toffees ever had a longer losing run from the beginning of a league campaign.
