Two more people have been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of a man in north London.

Olsi Kuka, 30, was found by police with stab wounds at a flat off Whetstone’s High Road in Barnet shortly before 3am on Wednesday, May 11.

He died of his injuries at the scene a short time later.

Officers remain in contact with his family and are providing them with support.

Now a 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, and Santana Thompson, 19, of Aldriche Way, Waltham Forest, are due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 28.

Two people had already been charged with the murder previously.

Bulent Bakir, 25, from Enfield, and Daige Ramsey, 23, of Winchester Road, were charged with murder on Monday, May 16.

They appeared in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 17 and will next appear at the Central Criminal Court on August 4.

Mr Kuka’s father Mehdi said the family have been “devastated” by the loss of their “beloved” son.

“We as a family are devastated by the loss of our beloved Olsi. He was a loving son, hardworking and very friendly and never harmed anyone and was so humble,” he said.

Superintendent Ray Keating, of the police unit which covers Barnet, offered his condolences to Olsi’s family and friends, and said the community would continue to see a “visible” police presence in the area.
