On Dec. 15, 1997, the Spice Girls descended upon London't Leicester Square for the premiere of their feature film, "Spice World.: The Movie."

The group's big screen debut was an extension of promotion of the band's second album, "Spiceworld" released a month earlier to great commercial success, spawning a European and North American tour.

In May 1998, months after the film's international release, Halliwell would shock fans by announcing her decision to leave the band. The news came days before the Spice Girls were set to begin the U.S. leg of their world tour, marking the beginning of the end of spice-mania.

Now, 24 years later, we're looking back on the cast of "Spice World: The Movie," and checking in on the group and the film's high-profile supporting cast and famous cameos.

Geri Horner

Since leaving the Spice Girls in 1998, Horner (formerly Halliwell) released three records as a solo artist and penned several books, including the successful children's series "Ugenia Lavender." In 2007, Horner reunited with the Spice Girls for a successful reunion tour and has served as a celebrity judge on reality series like "Australia's Got Talent" and "The X Factor."

The 49-year-old has two children, 15-year-old Bluebell Madonna and 4-year-old Montague, whom she shares with husband, Redbull F1 Team Principal Christian Horner.

Emma Bunton

Bunton pursued a career as a solo artist released her fourth studio album, "My Happy Place" in 2019.

The singer competed on "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2006 and has appeared as a presenter on “The Great American Baking Show,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” and “Loose Women.”

In 2021, the 45-year-old wed longtime partner, Jade Jones, with whom she shares sons Beau, 14, and Tate, 10. She's also been a radio presenter on Heart FM since 2009.

Mel B (Melanie Brown)

Brown appeared as a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars” and served as a reporter or both “Entertainment Tonight” and “Access Hollywood.”

The singer has served as a judge on both “The X factor UK” and “America’s Got Talent.” The now 46-year-old is the mother of three daughters, 22-year-old Phoenix, 14-year-old Angel whom she shares with actor Eddie Murphy, and 10-year-old Madison.

Victoria Beckham

Since the Spice Girls, Beckham's claim to fame came in the world of fashion. Along with husband David, the pair have navigated successful brand deals and fragrances before the singer launched her own brands, Victoria Beckham and Victoria by Victoria Beckham, in the early 2000s.

In 2019, Beckham expanded her fashion empire to include Victoria Beckham Beauty and continues to have her apparel worn by the likes of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex and Lady Gaga.

The now 47-year-old is mother to four children, 22-year-old Brooklyn, 19-year-old Romeo, 16-year-old Cruz and 10-year-old daughter Harper Seven.

Mel C (Melanie Chisholm)

In 1998, Chisholm found success with the hit duet "Baby When You're Gone" with Bryan Adams prior to releasing her solo album, "Northern Star."

Chisholm has sold approximately 23 million albums as a solo artist and released her latest album, "Melanie C" in 2020 and competed on season 30 of "Dancing With The Stars." The now 47-year-old singer has one child, 12-year-old Scarlett Starr.

Sir Roger Moore

Moore may always been known as James Bond, but the actor flexed his comedy muscles as the head of the Spice Girls's music label in "Spice World'.

The movie would be one of Moore's last film roles, although he continued to appear in TV movies and lend his voice to projects. Moore died in 2017 at the age of 89 after a "short but brave" battle with cancer.

Hugh Laurie

Laurie appeared in "Spice World: The Movie" as a detective, Poirot, who is out to solve a crime but becomes distracted by the charm of Emma Bunton's Baby Spice.

Laurie would find Hollywood success with his roles in the hit series "House" for which he earned two Golden Globe Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. The British actor has also appeared in the hit mini-series, "The Night Manager" and "Roadkill."

Alan Cumming

Cumming played a filmmaker hired to create a documentary about the Spice Girls in the film "Spice World: The Movie."

The Tony-award wining actor has earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his work on "The Good Wife" and recently appeared in the Apple+ TV series, "Schmigadoon."

In 2007, Cumming was awarded the Order of the British Empire for his services to film, theatre, arts and activism.

Richard E. Grant

After appearing as Clifford, the Spice Girls manager in "Spice World: The Movie," Grant went on to appear in critically acclaimed films such as "Gosford Park," "Jackie" and "The Iron Lady."

In 2019, Grant received his first Oscar nomination for his role in "Can You Ever Forgive Me?" alongside Melissa McCarthy.
