London festival OnBlackheath, which is returning for its fourth year, has announced The Libertines and Travis as 2017’s headline acts.

The two day festival, which this year falls on September 9 and 10, will also feature Metronomy, Jake Bugg, KT Tunstall and US bluesman Seasick Steve. Hiphop icons De La Soul, who this year are celebrating 30 years together, promise to be a highlight of Saturday, too.

Other acts on the bill include Fun Lovin’ Criminals, The Cuban Brothers and the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club.

Tickets, which cost either £49.50 for a day ticket or £90 for a weekend slot, go on sale this Friday April 28 at 9am at ticketmaster.co.uk, although there will also be a chance to buy in person, from 8am, at Blackheath Concert Hall.

Besides the music, the John Lewis Food Village will feature street food and restaurant pop-ups and live cooking demonstrations.

London brewery Meantime will host a bar, while families can head to the playground adventure area, which boasts street theatre and arts and crafts activities.

OnBlackheath co-founder Tom Wates said: "We’re back with two days of unforgettable music, food and family entertainment this summer, celebrating this stunning part of London and bringing the festival season to a close."
