OnBlackheath: Tickets, line-up and everything you need to know

One of the most family-friendly music events of the year takes place this weekend, with OnBlackheath festival arriving in south east London.

Thousands of music lovers will head to festival’s scenic site to enjoy a great selection of music, food and activities on September 8-9.

This year Squeeze headline the Saturday night on the main stage, starting at 8.45pm.

They’ll be joined on the Saturday by The Divine Comedy, playing their only UK festival show, as well as Huey Morgan, the James Taylor Quartet, Billy Bragg, Acrylic and the Greenwich and Lewisham NHS choir.

Paloma Faith headlines Sunday night, taking to the stage at 8.15pm. Corinne Bailey Rae, De La Soul, Craig Charles and the Lightning Seeds also perform across the day.

There’s plenty for guests to enjoy away from the two main stages too. The festival is welcoming Street Food Union in 2018, bringing some of the best street food in the capital to the festival.

Highlights include the Caribbean stand Only Jerkin’ and the Yorkshire Burrito, while there’ll also be plenty of vegan street food options on offer too. Pie and mash from Young Vegans and the Korean and Vietnamese offerings EatChay.

There’s a host of activities to keep kids entertained throughout the weekend, with playgrounds and activities as well as a performance from CBeebies stars Sid and Rebecca. They'll also be meeting fans on the Saturday of the event.

Under fives will also have the opportunity to take part in engaging music class Boppin’ Bunnies, while there’ll be playgrounds and other activities for kids to take part in across the festival.

Tickets

Weekend tickets are still available at £92, while single day tickets can be bought for £56. Families can also purchase children’s tickets, with under 16’s weekend tickets costing £25 and under 12’s costing £15. Tickets can be bought here.

How to get there

Guest can take national rail services to Lewisham or Blackheath stations, both of which are around a 10 minute walk to the festival site. Fans can also take the DLR to Lewisham.

Be aware there is no car parking available on site.
