One Dead, Several Injured in Strike on Zaporizhzhia Apartment Building

At least one person was killed in a strike on an apartment building in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, on Wednesday, March 22, the city’s mayor said.

Local media, citing Zaporizhzhia Mayor Anatolii Kurtiev, reported that 25 people were injured in the strike, including children aged seven and nine.

Footage from the site shows search and rescue work on Wednesday.

President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the strike on Telegram, writing: “Russia is shelling the city with bestial savagery.
