Niall Horan rules out One Direction reunion because Zayn Malik not in contact
Niall Horan has said a One Direction reunion is unlikely because Zayn Malik has cut contact with his former bandmates.
Malik, 27, quit the globally successful boyband in March 2015 and Horan, 26, said has not really heard from him since.
Horan told The Sun: “He’s quite a hard fella to keep in touch with. I don’t particularly talk to him a lot. If he’s got something coming out or something I will text him. He might not reply but I’ll give him a shout.

“After the band, he left for his reasons and then he never really spoke to us much afterwards.”
Since quitting One Direction, Malik has been dating supermodel Gigi Hadid, 24, on and off. He has released solo music and also dabbled in fashion design.
Horan added: “I’ve got no bad blood with him at all but some things have a lifespan.
“I don’t know. We will see what happens. Maybe one day we can reconvene at some point, but not right now.”

The British boyband were formed on TV talent show The X Factor in 2010. Despite finishing third on the show, they went on to have worldwide success.
Following Malik’s departure, the remaining members – Horan, Harry Styles, 26, Liam Payne, 26, and Louis Tomlinson, 28 – announced a hiatus in January 2016 and went on to pursue solo projects.
According to Heat magazine’s rich list of UK celebrities aged 30 or under, all of One Direction are multi- millionaires. Styles is estimated to be worth the most, at £64m, and Malik is thought to have earned the least, with an estimated worth of £38m.
