One Direction’s Security Aren’t Allowed To Touch Rainbow Bondage Bear

We have to admit, this is absolutely killing us.

Forget every other mystery in the history of the world, what we are really, desperately, dying to know is what the ‘eck is going on with Rainbow Bondage Bear and Sugar Baby Bear at One Direction’s shows?

And why on Earth has there not been a more thorough investigation into what is quite clearly the biggest mystery of One Direction to date? Which, by the way, is saying quite a lot.

So for over a year a rainbow-coloured stuffed teddy bear and his little, bear friend have been randomly appearing at One Direction shows as kind of unofficial mascots that appear to be hinting at what is going on behind the scenes with the band.

Although nobody has any concrete evidence on who is dressing the bears each night, it has been widely speculated that Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are the boys behind them - and with their drummer, Josh Devine, posing for pics with the stuffed toys backstage but denying any involvement with their placement each night, we are convinced that it is at least one member of the famous fourpiece.

Now, it has been revealed that as well as the boys’ security and crew not having a clue about the bears, they aren’t even allowed to touch them throughout the concert.

He runs a mean ship, that RBB.

After the bears appeared last night, holding a pamphlet about couples’ train fares and posing next to a framed photo of a hard-to-identify drag queen, a fan took to her Twitter account to reveal that she’d asked security who was in the pic, only to be told the surprising news.

The fan wrote: “I asked the security guard but they said they don’t know, and they aren’t aloud to touch it [SIC]”.

Hm. The plot thickens.

Obviously it didn’t take long for these eagle-eyed fans to track down the person in the photo, identifying them as drag queen Lee Star, who most famously hit the headlines in 2012 when eventual X Factor winner, Christopher Maloney, defied the show’s orders to go out partying with her in Manchester.

Prior to Lee’s appearance with the bears, the toys have recently been spotted alongside framed photos of famously closeted celebrity men, including John Inman, Larry Grayson, and Liberace.

Earlier this week, an official Twitter page for the bear appeared out of nowhere, posting never-before-seen images of RBB and SBB, including one of RBB at a drag show in Birmingham.

With Josh once again denying that he has any involvement with them, one of the drag queens in the pictures appeared to confirm that Louis and Harry were the ones who took the bears to her show by retweeting a message from a fan that said as much.

In conclusion, we have never been more intrigued by two cuddly toys, but as well as finding the whole thing impossibly frustrating, we have to admit that we also kind of love it.

It makes us feel all Sherlock Holmes and stuff, y’know?
