One Person Killed and 80 Structures Destroyed in Mountain View Fire in Walker, California

Local news reported one person was killed and 80 structures were destroyed as the Mountain View Fire raged through Walker, California, on November 18, forcing evacuations in the area.

Footage uploaded by the Mono County Sheriff’s Office shows fires and a thick plumes of smoke.

“Current video and images of Walker,” wrote the Sheriff’s Office. “Our hearts are with the residents of Walker.”
