The One Show goes very wrong with TWO live tumbles

Live TV can be pretty unpredictable at times... as we all noticed in tonight's (April 14) The One Show which saw TWO different tumbles.

First, a couple of dancers crashed into each other and landed in a heap on the floor – and then poor host Angela Scanlon nearly fell backwards at the end.

It just seemed like one of those days.

The two dancers were doing some kind of bizarre dance around porcelain eggs on the floor AND they were blindfolded, so obviously we were pretty impressed with their moves.

However, little porcelain eggs and blindfolds together is just asking for trouble and sure enough, one dancer caught a rogue egg and went tumbling into his partner before crashing to the floor.

However, not to fear, it was all part of the routine apparently (not that anyone really bought that, ahem) and everyone was alright.

At the end of the show, after introducing James Arthur's performance, Angela took a step backwards and nearly went flying, but managed to pull it back like a balancing pro. We should ask her for tips.

The host was fine though and took to Twitter to let everyone know she thought it was pretty funny too.

She wrote: "I almost stacked it at the end of tonight's show!!! Thank you @almurray for nudging me back to safety."

The One Show airs weeknights at 7pm on BBC One.
