The One Show host Jermaine Jenas makes announcement as show moved from BBC One

The One Show host Jermaine Jenas finished the latest show with an announcement for viewers. He informed them of a schedule change for the flagship BBC One show.

Saying goodbye and ending the programme on Tuesday Jermaine, who was hosting alongside Lauren Laverne, said: "I'll be back tomorrow with Alex and you can find us on BBC Two and iPlayer." Normally The One Show airs on BBC One at 7pm every weeknight.

On Wednesday, June 12, the show is being moved to BBC Two as BBC One is airing election programmes ahead of the 2024 general election. The One Show will still air at 7pm just on BBC Two instead. For the latest TV and showbiz news sign up to our newsletter.

On BBC One from 7pm to 7.30pm will be The Panorama Interviews with Nick Robinson and he will be interviewing Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth on his party's policies ahead of the election.
