One-Stop staff call 999 as woman taken to Royal Stoke

Shop staff called 999 after a woman was found on the ground. Paramedics were dispatched to the One-Stop shop, on Sandon Road, in Meir, following the call.

It was made at 4.36pm on Saturday, September 7.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a patient who had fallen on Sandon Road and one ambulance attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman. She was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital."
