One taken to hospital after five-vehicle crash on M11 near Cambridgeshire
One person has been taken to hospital following a five-vehicle crash on the M11 just outside Cambridgeshire. The incident happened at around 6.15pm on Monday (January 20).
Emergency services, including police and ambulance, were called to the motorway near Bishop's Stortford. The road was closed whilst they were in attendance and for vehicle recovery.
Police confirmed that the injuries to the people involved were not considered to be life-changing. The road reopened to motorists later that evening.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "We were called to M11, near Bishop’s Stortford, at around 6.15pm on Monday 20 January following reports of a collision involving five vehicles.
"The road was closed whilst emergency services were in attendance and to allow for vehicle recovery. The road was reopened around 9pm."
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "One ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a paramedic car were sent to the M11 near Audley End yesterday evening following reports of a multi vehicle road traffic collision.
"Five patients were assessed at the scene and one was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital for further assessment and care."
