One thing that gives drivers road rage most often - and it's not tailgating
There's no end of things that can leave us tearing out hair out when we're driving, whether it's being tailgated, other drivers not indicating or spotting someone using their phone. But, perhaps surprisingly, none of these top the list of motoring bugbears witnessed on the roads.
A new survey asked drivers what annoying habits they had witnessed. And top of the list - named by over half of motorists - was seeing someone throw rubbish out the window.
That was followed by some more familiar frustrations such as tailgating, speeding and undertaking. The full list has been published by yourparkingspace.co.uk after asking 2,000 motorists about what they had encountered.

Over half said they had seen someone throwing rubbish from a car, while 47% said they had witnessed tailgating. The details provide an insight into what drivers consider bad behaviour by their fellow motorists.
The top 10 driving bugbears were:
Throwing rubbish out the window
Tailgating
Speeding
Undertaking
Wrongly parking in a disabled bay
Using phones
Pavement parking
Drink-driving
Eating while driving
Parking in parent and child space without child
Brannan Coady, CEO at YourParkingSpace, said: “Littering while driving is the most common bad driving habit according to our survey of more than 2,000 motorists. While it’s a nasty habit, it’s also encouraging that so many other drivers think it’s the wrong thing to do.
Brannan added: “Parking appears to be a contentious issue for many, with inconsiderate parking in parent and child spaces and disabled spaces a common cause for annoyance.”
