One weird-looking pota-toe! Mutant spud looks just like a human FOOT

This mutant potato would trample all over your roast dinner plates as it looks just like a giant human FOOT.

The spectacular spud was discovered by farmers Marli and Paulo Ciquinel in the town of Meleiro in southern Brazil – and it has turned more than a few heads.

The foot potato comes complete with toes that descend in height order, with the largest of them covered in roots that look like hair.

The 8kg foot reaches up to nearly knee-height and has an extra toe for good measure.

The farmers planted the potato in the vegetable patch behind their home where they also grow other vegetables – but never expected to come to the attention of the world’s press.

Marli told reporters: ‘We have never seen anything like it.

‘Let’s see what we are going to do with the potato. Perhaps, we can put it on display if anyone would like to see it..
