Yahoo News Only Murders in the Building renewed for season 5
Only Murders in the Building has officially been renewed for a fifth season.
The comedy-mystery series — which is available on Disney+ in the UK — has been picked up for another 10 episode season by US streamer Hulu, according to multiple media outlets.
There is no firm timeline yet for season 5's release, but the show has traditionally come out with new seasons each summer.
Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez will return as the true crime junkies who always seem to get caught up in murder mysteries of their own.
The fourth season of Only Murders in the Building released its premiere episode last week with a near-perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes, as critics hailed its "many pleasures" and credited it with "elicit[ing] more laughs than any small-screen comedy since last year's instalment".

These new episodes revolve around the trio trying to solve the murder of Charles-Haden Savage's long-time stunt double Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch). The return of Only Murders coincided with a major format twist, as the story moved from New York City to Los Angeles.
The award-winning comedy series continues to attract some of Hollywood's biggest stars for guest roles, with the fourth season featuring Meryl Streep, Eva Longoria, Eugene Levy and Zach Galifianakis.
Only Murders in the Building's third season recently scored an incredible 21 nominations for the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, which will be held on September 15 in Los Angeles.

Martin Short, and Gomez all received nods in the lead comedy categories, while Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep were nominated in the supporting categories.
Throughout its run thus far, Only Murders in the Building has won four Emmys and received 49 total nominations. It has also earned 12 Golden Globe Award nominations over the years.
Only Murders in the Building streams on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.
