Do you have a good attention to detail? Put your vision to the test by seeing if you can spot the fluffy cat hiding on the white bed.

There's nothing like a good puzzle to get your mind working and dust off any mental cobwebs. The world of brainteasers is vast, with each type testing different aspects of your brain, from logic to problem-solving.

All these areas are crucial for healthy brain development as they enhance the connections between your brain cells and help ward off conditions like dementia.

Perception is one such area that often needs training. It helps us identify things in our surroundings, stay alert and spot problems that need addressing. So, if you're up for a perception challenge, see how long it takes you to find the camouflaged kitty.

To complete the challenge, set a timer and start scouring the image from top to bottom. Anyone who finds the mysterious moggy within 30 seconds has brilliant eye-sight.

While it's a difficult task, some managed to complete it in a seconds. Then revelling in glory, they took to Reddit to share their thoughts.

In response to the "find the cat" post, which has racked up 1,300 upvotes, one responder boasted: "Found the kitten!" Another said: "I see an ear. How far down in there is your cat?" And a third asked: "I can see the ear. Would this cat be playing hide and seek?"

If you're still struggling to identify the cat, focus your attention on the centre of the bed. You should be able to see the cat's ear peeking out from between the two floral pillows.

As well as warding off boredom, brainteasers are said to improve your cognitive and lateral thinking skills. According to Mindvalley, lateral thinking is a form of problem-solving that utilises a "more creative, less direct approach to the problem".

With that being said, we have even more challenges for you to have a crack at. How about taking a stab at a Lord of the Rings quiz? Or test yourself with five questions about food and drink.
