OnlyFans 'model' avoids jail after threatening to expose married man unless he paid her
An OnlyFans 'model', Bethan Guy, narrowly escaped a prison sentence after blackmailing a married man.
The model demanded hundreds of pounds from a subscriber to her adult content, threatening to expose him to his wife if he didn't comply. The victim, who was granted anonymity in court, initially paid £450 to the 29 year old but contacted the police when she demanded more money. The incident left him in significant distress, fearing he would lose his family.
Guy, from Swindon, Wiltshire, was arrested and charged with blackmail, to which she pleaded guilty in December 2023. Despite the crime carrying a potential 14-year prison sentence, Judge Jason Taylor at Swindon Crown Court deferred her sentencing until August, under the conditions that she committed no further offences and maintained employment.

While awaiting sentencing, Guy continued to promote her OnlyFans profile on social media, featuring nude photos and explicit videos. Due to court delays, she wasn't sentenced until 15 October, when Judge Taylor handed down a two-year prison sentence, suspended for two years.

Guy was ordered to complete 225 hours of unpaid community work, 12 sessions of mental health treatment, and 15 rehabilitation activity days with the probation service. She was also required to pay £450 in compensation to the victim, to be paid in monthly instalments of £50.
In a public statement on Instagram in July, prior to the original sentencing date, Guy described her crime as "a mistake and stupidity", stating: "If I could go back to the moment it happened I would because it honestly was just a mistake but this small mistake has now cost me so much pain and dread I can’t even explain."
She added: "If I could give anyone advice it’ll be don’t think you’re untouchable because something will catch up one day."
