Oodles of Noodles: Competitive Eater Puts Away Impressive Amount of Spicy Ramen

A New Zealand competitive eater finished five packs of Korean spicy noodles in just over 14 minutes, video shows.

Auckland-based competitive eater and model Nela Zisser posted a video on her YouTube page on August 27 that shows her consuming the Samyang Ramen Hot Chicken Cheese, with a little bit of help from a glass of milk, in about 14 minutes and 18 seconds.

“I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to get through it,” Zisser says in the video after she finishes the dish. “My mouth is just on fire.”

Zisser’s YouTube account chronicles food feats such as wolfing down 10 Burger King Whoppers in 17 minutes, devouring a 1 kilo burrito in just under 100 seconds, and consuming a 2.2-pound jar of Nutella in under four minutes. Credit: Nela Zisser via Storyful
