oOOh – Zayn Malik’s Tracklist Style Mocked By Harry Styles’ Best Pal Nick Grimshaw

oOh DeAr, oOh DeAr – it’s grammar textbooks at dawn.

Harry Styles’ best pal Nick Grimshaw has had a dig at the way Zayn Malik has mixed capital and lower-case letters on the tracklist for his debut album.

Former One Direction singer Zayn, 23, is preparing to release his first record Mind Of Mine later this month and whetted fans’ appetites by releasing the tracklist on Instagram.

It looked like this:

In case you can’t make that out in front of the questionable looking tadpoles swimming in the background, that’s:

Some have ridiculed Zayn’s use of capitals and grammar, with one venting on Twitter: ‘Why the f*** is the tracklist written like that? It’s making me dyslexic.’

Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw was slightly more subtle.

He tweeted the below message after Zayn’s announcement.

And the 31-year-old followed it up with this Wildean zinger the following day.

oOh.

It’s clearly a hint Grimshaw – whose spot on the X Factor judging panel may be taken by 1D singer Louis Tomlinson – is siding with One Direction over Zayn’s exit from the group on March 25 last year, the same day he is releasing his first album. Zayn’s fans were quick to attack Grimshaw, accusing him of being infantile and calling him ‘petty’ in Twitter posts.

But the breakfast show host told Heat magazine last year he respected Zayn for leaving because he didn’t want him to “resent” staying in 1D.

Zayn also teased the apparent cover of Mind Of Mine on Instagram.

None of it seems to matter to Simon Cowell who thinks Zayn is doing well after going solo.

The X Factor boss told E! News about the Bradford singer: “We were involved with what label he went on, and he’s still signed to our company, so, he’s done fantastic, and he’s showing that he’s a great vocalist and very talented.”

It’s unlikely any of it will bother Zayn either.

He’s worth £16million, has the best-selling single of 2016 so far with Pillowtalk and his 20-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel girlfriend Gigi Hadid looks like this when she’s at work.

And he doesn’t have to get up at 4am to present a radio show.
