Hold up… did Barack Obama just reveal the sex of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s twins? Twitter believes he did.

It all started when Jay Z was inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame last night.

The 47-year-old hip-hop star wasn’t able to collect his accolade in person because, as rumour has it, he’s on call to be at Beyonce’s side as she’s due to go into labour any day now.

took to gushed about the former US president on his page and said he is the “greatest rapper of all time”.

Instead, he took to Twitter to thank those who have inspired him throughout his career.

The ‘Empire State of Mind’ hitmaker named his wife among his list of favourite rap artists, while he also denied being drunk as he tweeted.

Jay Z even mocked his own social media skills…

“F**k haa. Naw for real .Pastor Jeezy my partner . Okay I’m done . I’m deleting this app in the morning . S**t is impossible to get right.

“I promise I’m not drunk…”

Obama dropped a HUGE hint about the sex of the couple’s babies in a video message he sent to Jay Z to congratulate him on his latest award.

In it, he said: “Jay Z and I are also fools to our daughters. Although he’s he’s going to have me beat when those twins show up.”

And of course, Twitter picked up on it immediately.

Obama has two daughters – Malia, 18, and Sasha, 16 – and Jay Z and Beyonce are already parents to Blue Ivy, five. So, in conclusion, the music couple could only have them “beat” with three girls.

We’ll just have to wait and see if he was right.
