Kent’s brunch lovers and cocktail connoisseurs are in for a treat this month as a new bar and lounge will be opening along the coast. Perico Lounge will be the latest trendy destination to enjoy a tipple or a bite, opening in Ramsgate on Wednesday, June 12.

Launching on Beach Drive within the Royal Sands development, the establishment operated by the Loungers café and bar group promises a relaxed and stylish atmosphere for patrons to enjoy. Guests can expect to see patterned wallpaper, oversized vintage sofas, upholstered lounge chairs and a variety of artwork that create ‘a variety of cosy and elegant drinking and dining areas’.

It will offer an all-day menu featuring a selection of dishes including tapas, burgers, fried chicken and salads as well as vegan and gluten-free choices. While this is the perfect destination for a coffee or boozy brunch with friends, the Perico Lounge will welcome families and all age groups.

With games, books, colouring pencils and a dedicated kids’ menu, there will be plenty on offer for the little ones too. Loungers already operates a number of venues in Kent including Cosy Club in Canterbury and the Sentando Lounge in Sittingbourne.

Gemma Irwin, Community Manager at Loungers, says: “We are delighted to be opening Perico Lounge in Ramsgate. Our Lounges strive to put community at the heart of hospitality and our teams always go the extra mile to make a difference.
