The opening date for a new BrewDog pub inside Edinburgh's Waverley Station has been revealed - and it's right around the corner.

In December 2023 we reported on the pub chain's plans to open a fifth Edinburgh bar within the busy train station adding to venues such as the Cowgate, Lothian Road, New Street and the airport.

The bar will boast a wide range of taps of craft beer, including headliners such as Punk IPA, Hazy Jane and Elvis Juice, and a range of spirits and cocktails from BrewDog Distilling Co. and Wonderland Cocktails.

On the food menu will be a range of pub classics, as well as BrewDog’s signature wings and burgers. According to submitted plans, the pub would have around 70 seats, with four person booths as well as high top counters. There's also an LED sign reading 'pray for delay' included in the plans.

An advert on social media has confirmed the bar's opening date as Wednesday, October 30, at 11am. BrewDog has also confirmed the opening online. A message on the group's website reads: "We are so excited to open our fifth bar in the capital.
