Opening date set for new Starbucks drive-thru on A1 near Grantham

A new Starbucks drive-thru coffee shop is opening on a major Lincolnshire road. The new site, located at Great North Road, Foston, Grantham, will open on Friday, November 8 to all commuters along the A1.

With opening hours from 6am to 10pm every day, the shop will serve everything from morning coffee to evening treats. The Magic Bean Company, Starbucks' only national growth partner covering England and Wales, will be operating the store under licence from the American chain.

A spokesperson for the company said: "The opening of our new Grantham store is a proud moment for the Magic Bean Company. We’re delighted to provide a comfortable and accessible space for all A1 commuters and locals to enjoy their favourite Starbucks beverages and bites.

"We look forward to becoming a part of the Grantham community and enhancing the journeys of those passing through." The new Starbucks will be based opposite the Esso garage at Foston services.

A study of 2,000 adults who celebrate Christmas found over the last five years, a quarter feel like their levels of loneliness have increased over the festive period – as 49 per cent worry about getting lonelier as they get older.
