Orange County Fire Crews Rescue Horse Stuck in Ditch

On November 9, crews with the Orange County Fire Authority rescued a horse in Yorba Linda, California. According to reports, the horse’s owner was on a ride when the horse became spooked, sliding down into a deep ditch, where it became entangled.

The horse was found face-down in thick brush and shrubbery. After cutting the vegetation, rescuers were able to bridle the horse and pull it out of the ditch. The retired barrel racing horse only suffered superficial injuries. Credit: The Orange County Fire Authority via Storyful
