You Can Order Half And Half Pizzas At Pizza Express, And We Had No Idea

This morning, while listening to Greg James’ Radio 1 breakfast show, I learned something more valuable than a single thing I was taught at school.

If you listen on the regular, you’ll know that Greg does a quiz on his show called, Yesterday’s Quiz. Today’s player was Sammy, who used to work as a waitress at Pizza Express when she was at uni.

While chatting to Greg about her time at the pizza chain, Sammy revealed that you can actually get half and half pizzas there, but no one talks about it.

Gasp!

Greg asked her about the possibility of ordering off-menu, to which Sammy replied: “Yes, you can. You can add different toppings on. You can also do half and half, but they don’t tell you that.”

Greg added, “It’s a little life hack, that.”

As well as gifting us with this life-changing advice, Sammy also explained that she had a pizza-based party trick.

“I can look at any pizza from Pizza Express, and name the pizza and tell you which toppings are on it,” Sammy announced proudly. “So, my friends will send me pictures of their pizzas when they’re there and I can name them.”

What a useless but incredibly impressive skill to have on your CV. Unless, you’re going for a job at Pizza Express, obvs.
