Oregon Resident Gives Toilet Paper Roll a Pharaoh's Funeral

Oregon resident Jaklyn Larsen added “toilet paper funeral director” to her resume after she began holding themed funeral services for spent toilet paper rolls at her home in Florence as a way to pass the time while in self-quarantine on March 24.

The video shows Larsen presiding over an ancient Egyptian-style funeral service — complete with a sarcophagus and a pyramid — for a spent toilet paper roll. The roll is wrapped up with toilet paper strips to look as if it had been mummified.

Larsen told Storyful she made all the videos at home while social-distancing. “I hoped that in making these videos, I could bring a little more joy to the world,” said Larsen Credit: Jaklyn Larsen via Storyful
