When it was announced that Candice King would be crossing over from The Vampire Diaries to The Originals to reprise her role as Caroline on the season five premiere of the spin-off, fans of both series LOST. THEIR. MINDS.
Because if Caroline is going to be on The Originals, it means there's a chance that Klaus and Caroline could rekindle their TVD romance.
The small problem was that when Candice's role in The Originals was announced, it was only confirmed that she'd be appearing in the fifth season premiere, which meant it would be unlikely that Klaroline would be revived.
But based on the new picture Candice King just shared on her Instagram, it looks like we'll be getting a lot more Caroline than we first expected. And more importantly: a lot more Klaroline!
