Orion Acquires Horror Screenplay ‘If I Had Your Face’ From Ran Ran Wang; Concordia Studio & Hopscotch Pictures Producing

EXCLUSIVE: Orion has acquired If I Had Your Face, the 2023 Black List horror script written by Ran Ran Wang.

The official synopsis is under wraps, but the film is in the vein of Jordan Peele’s 2017 Oscar-winning horror debut Get Out, with two Asian female leads.

The film is being produced by Jonathan King, and Ash Sarohia for Concordia Studio, along with Sukee Chew for Hopscotch Pictures. Creative executive John Lin brought the spec into Concordia studios, and Orion creative executive Priyanka Kapoor will oversee the project for the studio.

Wang is a current Rideback Rise Resident who has worked as a book scout for Paramount Pictures and Netflix. Upon landing her screenplay on the Black List and then setting it up at Orion, she left the corporate world and just wrapped production on her short film, Recollectors, which she co-wrote and directed.
