A friend of the woman who was allegedly raped by JLS star Oritse Williams has claimed that she begged for him to stop.

In the on-going case against Williams and his tour manager Jamien Nagadhana at Wolverhampton Crown Court, jurors heard more details about what happened during the night in question in December 2016.

Recalling the conversation she had with the victim - who cannot be named for legal reasons - the friend said: “She said she had been picked up and put on the bed and she was telling him to leave her alone and stop it and he carried on anyway,” according to The Sun.

"His friend he was sharing a room with came over to the two of them while she was telling him to stop and was touching her and then she was telling him to stop,” she continued to comment.

"I started freaking out, I think I was having another panic attack and ran out the room to ask for help."

The victim had previously recalled how she had "laid down like a dead body" in a bid to end her ordeal

In her interview with the police, the unnamed female said: “I was quite scared. I felt more pathetic, if that makes sense. I felt just worthless.

"He got in behind me and pulled down his pants and was trying to grind on me like he was trying to have sex. This other was just sat on the bed just watching this all happen, it was weird.”

"I was pushing him away, I shoved him with my legs. I wish I had pushed him off more harder,” she continued.

"I just felt I wanted it to be over. He didn't stop until I started crying, I just got my stuff and left."

Williams has denied the allegation of rape, whilst Nagadhana denies sexual assault and assault by penetration.

Williams became a household name when he appeared on The X Factor with JLS in 2008. Despite missing out on winning the show, the band went on to have a successful career with a number of top ten hits.
