Orphaned Mountain Lion Cubs Released Into Colorado Wilderness After Rehabilitation

Two mountain lion cubs were released into the wilderness near Durango, Colorado, after being rehabilitated by Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Footage of the release shows the cubs being let out of their cages, with the pair bounding off one by one.

The CPW Southwest region wrote on Twitter: “Two mountain lion cubs found orphaned last winter were released this week in a remote area east of Durango.
