Orrstown: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (AP) _ Orrstown Financial Services Inc. (ORRF) on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $4 million.

The Shippensburg, Pennsylvania-based bank said it had earnings of 49 cents per share.

The holding company for Orrstown Bank posted revenue of $21.7 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $18.2 million, topping Street forecasts.

Orrstown shares have declined slightly more than 7 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $23.41, a decrease of slightly more than 5 percent in the last 12 months.
