Yahoo News Oscars 2023: Harrison Ford and Ke Huy Quan reunited on stage 39 years after Indiana Jones
The Indiana Jones star presented the award for Best Picture to Everything Everywhere All at Once and his former co-star was very excited to see him.

Harrison Ford and Ke Huy Quan shared a touching reunion on stage at the 95th Academy Awards stage for all to see, 39 years after working together in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
The Everything Everywhere All at Once star – who also won best actor at the Oscars 2023 – was delighted to accept the award for Best Picture from his former co-star.
Ford, 80, and Quan, 51, shared a warm embrace and the Goonies star planted a kiss on the Indiana Jones actor's cheek.
Quan then jumped up and down excitedly before indicating to Ford he should present the award to his fellow cast and crew members.

The pair were reunited in September 2022 at Disney's D23 fan event, with Quan sharing a sweet selfie on Instagram captioned: " 'I love you, Indy.' Indiana Jones and Short Round reunited after 38 years."
Quan confessed afterwards that he had recognised Ford but did not think the actor would remember him.
He revealed to The New York Times’ Kyle Buchanan: "As I get close my heart is pounding. I'm thinking, 'Is he going to recognise me? The last time he saw me I was a little kid.'
"As I get closer, he turns and points his finger at me, and he has that classic, famous, grumpy Harrison Ford look. I go ‘Oh my gosh, he probably thinks I’m a fan and he’s gonna tell me to not come near him.’
"But he looks and points at me and says, ‘Are you Short Round?’ Immediately, I was transported back to 1984, when I was a little kid, and I said, 'Yes, Indy.' And he said 'Come here,' and gave me a big hug."
Ford said afterwards of seeing his former child side-kick: "I'm so happy for him. He's a great guy. He's a wonderful actor. He was when he was a little kid, and he still is. I'm glad. I'm very happy for him."
Quan – who was born in Vietnam but emigrated to the US at the age of eight – made his name playing cheeky orphan and pick pocket Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1984.
A year later he was cast as tech geek Data in hit family adventure The Goonies.
Despite such success as a child star he struggled to find roles as an Asian actor and went behind the camera, working as a choreographer on films including X-Men and The One.

But after the success of 2018’s Crazy Rich Asians Quan was persuaded to return to acting and this year won his first Oscar for sci-fi comedy drama EEAAO.
