Otters Embrace the Impact of Tennessee Flooding

Heavy rain saw flooding in the Johnson County area of Tennessee on February 6.

While the weather conditions may have caused road closures and other difficulties for humans in the region, Mountain City resident Amanda Burrell Potter captured video of these otters making the best of the downpour.

In a video shared to Facebook by Burrell Potter on February 6, a number of otters can be seen bobbing their heads up and down in the water of Roan Creek.

Captioning the scene “we found some buddies in the water,” she looked on as the otters seemed to be enjoying the effects of the difficult weather. Credit: Amanda Burrell Potter via Storyful
