Outer Rings of Hurricane Fiona Batter Turks and Caicos as Storm Moves North
Intense wind and rain lashed parts of Turks and Caicos, as the outer bands of Hurricane Fiona impacted the islands on Tuesday, September 20.
Turks and Caicos authorities canceled a hurricane warning late on Tuesday night as the storm traveled north.
The National Hurricane Center said heavy rain would continue for the islands through Tuesday night, before impacting Bermuda late on Thursday. Fiona is also expected to affect parts of Canada on Friday and Saturday.
