Outlander stars spotted in Ayrshire as filming for final series continues
Filming for Outlander’s eighth and final series has been taking place at Eglinton Park in Irvine.
Fans of the show are preparing for the final series with a few lucky onlookers able to catch a glimpse of the set while filming too place in Ayrshire.
Work has been going on to transform the park in time for filming of the series which is set during the 1700s.

Stars of the show, including Scottish actor Sam Heughan, who plays Highland warrior Jamie Fraser, and Catriona Balfe, who plays Claire Fraser, have been spotted on set.
The time travelling series follows Claire after she is transported to 1743 where she becomes involved in the Jacobite Rebellion.
Recent rainy weather hasn't put a dampener on proceedings as filming has continued.
And fans of the show have flocked to the park this week to try and get a glimpse of the small-screen stars.
Historical drama Outlander, based on the novels by Diana Gabaldon, has been a global hit after first airing in 2014.
The second half of series seven is due to air in later this year with eight more episodes for fans to enjoy.
In 2022, the series was renewed for a 10-episode eighth series which is not due to air until next year.
