Over 20 Dead, At Least 70 Injured in Train Derailment in Northern India

A train derailment in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh state killed at least 23 people and injured dozens more on Saturday, August 19, according to national reports.

Several Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express coaches came off the tracks near the Khatauli train stop in the city of Muzaffarnagar, located about 100 kilometres north of New Delhi.
