Overgrown scrubland up for grabs for £100,000
An overgrown plot of land with development potential in a Cornwall beauty spot is to be auctioned off. The land, situated between 11 and 13 Trerieve in Downderry in South East Cornwall, which is 12 miles from Plymouth, boasts stunning panoramic sea views.
Paul Heather, a director at Charles Darrow estate agent, which is handling the auction sale, said the piece of land offers a "great prospect" and "presents a remarkable opportunity for development, subject to the necessary planning consents".
He added: "The site is vacant and ready for imaginative development in a highly sought-after residential area. Downderry is known for its charming community and scenic coastline, making it an attractive location for developers and prospective homeowners alike.

"This auction presents a rare chance to acquire land in a highly regarded coastal village, making it an attractive option for those looking to invest along the Cornwall/Devon border."
According to the estate agents, the undeveloped site is positioned on a steep hillside in an elevated area, mirroring the neighbouring properties that typically feature split-level detached houses. There are also no current planning applications associated with the site.
It is being offered for auction with a guide price of £90,000 to £100,000. The auction is scheduled to take place on December 5. For more information click here or call Charles Darrow Auctions on 01637 822822.
