Overnight A3, M25 and M3 road closures near Wisley, Chertsey and Reigate this week

This week in Surrey, overnight road closures will impact drivers all over the county, with vital routes shutting down for the night. While most are asleep, National Highways employees working on Surrey's highways.

Certain areas such as near Wisley, Chertsey, Staines and Hindhead are all on the list for overnight road closures, with sections of the A3, M25 and M3 in particular pinned for closures.

Works will include anything from street light maintenance, to drainage works. Structure maintenance such as checking gantries or clearing vegetation will also be taking place throughout Surrey this week. National Highways will shut roads off to the public, and generally put clear diversion routes in place. Diversion routes should be followed as intended, satnavs may take drivers off course.

Some overnight road closures may begin from as early as 9.30pm. Mostly, road closures lift by around 6am the following morning, 8am latest. However, in events such as extreme weather, closures may have to remain in place longer than anticipated.

M25 anticlockwise road closure between junction 16 and junction 15 (for Heathrow Airport). Closure in place from 10pm until 5am the following morning
M25 anticlockwise Cobham Services exit slip road closure, between 10pm and 5am the following morning

Wednesday, November 27

M3 northbound closure of lanes and entry and exit slip roads at junction 4a near Frimley. Closure in place from 9.30pm until 6am the following morning

Saturday, November 30

M25 closures

M25 clockwise lane closures between junction 6 (Godstone) to junction 7 (Croydon), the M23 southbound link road will also be closed. Closure in place from 10pm until 5.30am the following morning
