Overnight Growth on Caldor Fire Prompts New Evacuation Orders in El Dorado County, California

The Caldor Fire had burned 149,684 acres (about 234 square miles) across parts of northern California as of Saturday, August 28, prompting new evacuation orders as the fire grew overnight, according to fire officials.
