The owner of a new concept shop in a Norfolk village has been overwhelmed by the success of its opening weekend.

Harrow and Fearn opened on March 18 in a building alongside The Green in Old Buckenham, near Attleborough, and it is a wine refill shop offering local and international tipples on tap.

Customers can bring their own containers and wine is sold by the litre, with gin available too.

It is run by Matthew Harrowven and follows the success of his wine refill delivery service Tap and Tipple in a converted horsebox, which first launched in 2018.

Harrow and Fearn also offers takeaway coffees, Danish buns from Frå.kost in Norwich and sourdough and pastries from Hempnall Bakery.

It is open 8am to 4pm at weekends only and the bread delivery is on Saturday, with the option to pre-order online.

Mr Harrowven said: "We have been overwhelmed with the support from customers and on Saturday we sold out of bread.

"We have had such a positive response from locals who said we have combined three of their favourite things - bread, wine and coffee."
