'Overwhelming Wonder': Diver Swims Alongside Blue Whale

A diver was treated to a spectacular close encounter with a blue whale off the Maldives, video from July 12 shows.

This footage was captured by Rizkhan Mohamed of Shadow Palm Tours in the Maldives.

“Witnessing this blue whale has been the pinnacle of our adventures,” Shadow Palm Tours said, posting the video on Instagram.

“Swimming alongside it filled us with overwhelming wonder and joy. Our hearts are full of gratitude for the ocean and the unforgettable moments it grants us,” the company wrote.
