Owner Confirms Pug is '100 Percent' Deaf as He Sleeps in Slipper While Chicks Chirp

A 14-year-old pug did not lose a second of slumber despite a chorus of chirps around him from a collection of chicks at a Massachusetts home.

Video shared to Facebook on May 9 by Denise Breen shows her dog, Blitz, soundly asleep with his face in a slipper while her six chicks and three chickens loudly parade next to him.

Breen attributes Blitz’s ability to rest so deeply to losing his hearing a “couple of years ago”.
