Indian authorities said tankers of liquid oxygen were en route to the state of Madhya Pradesh on April 27, as the country’s hospitals grappled with a spike in COVID-19 cases.
The Animal Husbandry Department of Madhya Pradesh said the oxygen was collected from a plant in Angul, Odisha, and would be brought to Madhya Pradesh.
The Madhya Pradesh public relations office said the Animal Husbandry Department tankers would bring oxygen to various cities in Madhya Pradesh, including Guna, Chhatarpur, Jabalpur, and Sagar.
